What is the Momentum Tour?

NCLN’s Executive Director, Ruth Shaw, will speak about NCLN’s work on university campuses to stem the tide of abortion in Canada. Through this presentation, you will learn key strategies for mobilizing a pro-life generation to rise up against abortion and how NCLN plans to win back a generation. This is an opportunity for existing and potential donors to see how they can support this important work.

National Campus Life Network is a pro-life organization dedicated to persuading and mobilizing young people to rise up against abortion through their on campus pro-life club. NCLN currently works with 21 campuses across Canada and over 100 young people.

NCLN is currently on a national tour to raise up another 100 young people to act against abortion and speak with 1600 pro-choice people as part of their 2019-2020 mission.

Who is Ruth Shaw?

Ruth Shaw is the Executive Director of National Campus Life Network. She began pro-life work in 2007 as a member of the pro-life club at Carleton University where the club was consistently discriminated against for it's pro-life position. In 2010, Ruth and 4 other club members were arrested by Carleton Administration for attempting to put up a pro-life display. In defense of the club, Ruth lead a national media campaign and was interviewed by several major national outlets over the course of several months. Subsequently, she filed a lawsuit against the school for their discrimination. Later that year, Ruth was named International Pro-Life Activist of the year by Students for Life of America, the largest pro-life youth organization in America. Ruth became the Director of NCLN in 2017, and most recently was co-host of the largest pro-life March in Canada on EWTN, a major Catholic Broadcasting network. She lives in Ottawa, Ontario.
